Hi to all of you, any of you, that are reading this! I decided that I would start a blog in order to get out my trials and tribulations about being a school counseling student in hopes that other people, students or practicing school counselors will chime in!
I am going into my second year at graduate school and now is the time where we start internships. Yes that's right, I leave my summer camp job tomorrow and start internship on Tuesday! Not much of a break. I am starting out at the high school level for my first 200 hours. I am really excited but a little nervous because I have yet to work with high school students from a counseling perspective. It should be a wild ride.
Over the next couple of weeks, months, and year, I will be writing about all my trials and triumphs during school and in my internship. Please feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think. I can use all the advice I can get. I am sure I will post many a question over the course of this blog!
